I work as a web application developer for the Institute for Learning and Research Technology (ILRT) at the University of Bristol, and have been doing so since 2000. Previously I worked as a tech support monkey and web developer for Opensoft Communications Ltd, Newbury, UK - now defunkt where I mostly helped people understand their web-stats with WebTrends. I work both for the Internet Development group at ILRT, and also am the technical manager and developer behind the Intute Virtual Training Suite.
